Birthday Renewal: 3 New Habits for Radiant, Healthy Skin

A few days ago, with just a month to go until my upcoming birthday, I found myself browsing through old photos. Yes, there's no denying the signs of time that have appeared on my face over the years. But instead of falling into despair, I decided to take initiative and adopt some new habits to help restore my skin's natural radiance.

Although my skincare routine has always been minimalistic, I chose to focus on 3 simple yet effective habits:

1. Chlorophyll - The Green Renewal for Your Skin

I start each morning with a glass of water mixed with two tablespoons of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll, the green pigment that allows plants to photosynthesize, is known for its ability to detoxify the body, enrich blood with oxygen, and give skin a natural glow. Additionally, it's rich in antioxidants that fight free radicals and slow down skin aging processes.

2. Gua Sha - The Ancient Beauty Tool Taking Over Skincare

Twice a day, morning and evening, I dedicate a few minutes to facial massage with a gua sha stone. This ancient Chinese treatment method helps improve blood circulation, lymphatic drainage, and soothes the skin. Massage with the stone helps reduce puffiness, firm the skin, and improve its elasticity. I received my stone as a gift from my sister, but you can find them today in almost any beauty store.

3. Face Yoga - Exercise for Facial Muscles

This is my newest habit, and I'm already falling in love with it. Face yoga is a series of exercises designed to strengthen and stretch facial muscles, which helps reduce wrinkles and maintain a youthful, radiant appearance.
Just type the words "Face Yoga" on YouTube and you will get tons of videos to follow along. 

What's Next on the Agenda?

I have a few more goals I'd like to implement soon:

  • Start daily facial massage
  • Reduce sugar and wheat from my diet
  • Invest in a quality serum
  • Improve my sleep schedule
